Case Jackon Finland Oy

Jackon Finland Oy manufactures and sells plastic-based thermal insulation products for construction and industry. The company operates nationwide with two factories in Sastamala and Rovaniemi. In early 2016, we started designing a real-time production reporting system for Jackon Finland, based on our Celesta application, as part of their production planning system.

"Celesta has been customized as part of our own system and the latest deployments related to production reporting took place in May 2018. The utilization rate of the activities where Celesta is involved is currently around 90%, which is a good result even in such a short period of time." says Jani Frantsila, Logistics and IT Manager at Jackon Finland Oy.

A wifi network was built at Jackon Finland's factory both for Celesta's use and for future production projects. "Each workstation has its own Android-based mobile device. We use Celesta Plan for system management and Celesta Mobile for reporting. The integration of Celesta into our own production planning system has brought much needed ease, speed and real-time production reporting. The real-time tracking of products in the shipping process has also made our daily operations easier."

Overall, the implementation of Celesta has gone well, which has also been reflected in the satisfaction of Jackon Finland's employees.

"Our employees have been very happy with the new system, as it speeds up and simplifies their daily reporting work. We have started to plan further cooperation with Identoi Oy for other functions as well." says Frantsila.
