Case Lappset Group

Identoi Oy is helping Lappset Group Oy in a major change in its collection and packaging process. Identoi will provide Lappset Group Oy with a collection system based on its product Cele, which will support Lappset's business development. The aim of the change is to improve the efficiency of the collection and packaging process by eliminating unnecessary intermediate steps in the storage of products.

The new system will help to balance the different workloads by improving the management and monitoring of work queues. This will also help to reduce unnecessary waiting times between jobs. The Celesta picking system facilitates the picking and packing of products while allowing traceability of products throughout their life cycle.

Workers will use handheld terminals with barcode readers and terminals permanently mounted on forklift trucks for picking and packing. The system will be connected to Lappset Group's IFS ERP system via API interfaces.
